Applications
We manufacture components for the following equipment:
| MARINE, TRAIN AND STATIONARY DIESEL ENGINES |
- Bushing in Steel x Babbitt or trimetallic (steel x bronze x Babbitt, centrifugally cast or electroplated) for connecting rods or crank shafts of marine main engines (propulsion);
- Crossheads bearings and/or connecting rods with body in cast steel coated with Babbitt;
- Thrust Pads;
- Crosshead guide pads;
- Bimetallic or Trimetallic conneting rod or crosshead bush.

| CEMENT AND MINING EQUIPMENT |
- Complete bearings and/or its bushings in cast steel x Babbitt for ball or bar tube mills;
- Pedestal bearings for the drive pinion shaft of mills or kilns (EXPARA line), with housing and self-compensating spherical inserts in cast iron and bushing in steel x Babbitt;
- Eccentric bush for Esch crushers in steel x Babbitt (internal and external).

| COMPRESSORS AND TURBINES |
- Bimetallic or trimetallic bearing shells and bushes with cylindrical internal profile, for low and medium speed applications;
- >Bimetallic or trimetallic bearing shells and bushes with special internal profile (two, three or four lobes) for high speed and low load applications;
- Bimetallic bearings (steel x Babbitt) with radial or thrust tilting-pads for extreme instability cases (great resistance to oil Whipping).

| VENTILATORS |
- Pedestal bearings for ventilator shafts (Z line), with housing in modular cast iron and self-compensating spherical insertion in steel x Babbitt.

| GEAR BOXES |
- Bimetallic bearings in steel x Babbitt for high, intermediary and low speed shafts (under customer drawing or our standard line), with cylindrical internal profile or in two or four lobes (special high rotation usage).

| STEEL MILLS |
- Back-up roll bushes in steel x Babbitt;
- Bearings for drive pinions of the mills.

| ELECTRICAL MOTORS AND GENERATORS |
- Pedestal or flanged bearings, Z Family, according to Norms DIN/ ISO 31690, 31693 and 31694 or under customer design.

| SHIP PROPULSION SHAFT |
- Plummer Bearing for ship propeller shafts;
- Bimetallic bushes for the sealing system of the propeller shaft (cast iron or steel x Babbitt).

| TURBINES AND HYDROELETRIC GENERATORS |
- Bimetallic thrust pads for turbines and generators;
- Bimetallic guide pads for vertical shaft turbines and generators;
- Pedestal or Flanged bearings, Z Family, according to Norms DIN/ ISO 31690, 31693 e 31694 or under customer design;
- Complete Zollern designed guide or combined guide/thrust bearings vertical shaft for turbines and generators.

| OBSERVATIONS: |
- In case you need any radial or thrust slide bearings, even if not described above, inquiring our Application Engineering Department;
- For all products mentioned above, we supply technical support in the design, installation and equipment maintenance phases;
- The majority of the products mentioned above can be installed with temperature sensors of the RTD type or another specified by the client;
- We can manufacture bearings by customer specifications or according to Zollern design;
- We conduct repair work on large bimetallic (steel x Babbitt) and thick walled bearings;
- We can supply our bearings in conjunction with the Low or High Pressure Hydraulic Sets.
